Life Abroad, The Struggle is Real

Diverse friends, gathering to discuss struggles

Time to share. How are you really doing? If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. Let’s talk about it.

Moving to another country doesn’t erase life’s struggles, it simply adds new layers. From cultural adjustments to relationship strain, from loneliness to burnout, expats often carry more emotional weight than they talk about. But silence can cause some people to further isolate or to seek unhealthy ways to cope with the negative emotions.

I’d like to provide a supportive space to explore some of these challenges and learn some practical ways to care for your mental health while navigating life far from home. I’ll share reflections on the mental and emotional experiences common among expats, along with helpful strategies to stay balanced, resilient, and connected while living overseas.
